This was our most intriging investigation of Doncaster Air Museum to date.  We were joined by guest mediums Lynne and Ann Marie who soon started to pick up on the spirit of a man who worked with some of the aircraft.  There was no interaction from the man, as if he was simply going about his daily work unaware of our presence.  As we stood we could feel and icy cold pass through us several times as if he was walking through us.

We have several reports from guests of dark shadows and tapping noises as they asked for them.  Unforutunately as it was a little breezy outside it was difficult not to rule out the natural noise of the hangar roof and walls rattling.

Further reports from team and guest will be posted as we recieve them.

By far the most incredible paranormal phenomena of the night was the group table tipping at the end of the night. As we were all very tired we had quite low expectiation, how wrong we were! After a slow start the table started to move slightly then quite unexpectedly it started moving around so quickly it was difficult for the 4-5 people around it to keep up. We made sure that each person removed their hands at random to rule out cheating but the table contiued on it course. It then tipped onto two legs when asked and turn around anti clockwise too. When the group around the table changed the same movements happened and finally the table tipped over. Luckily we captured this on tape. This can be viewed on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyaHcP8dvcU . We all felt this was a great end to the night but little did we know more was to come. As she was walking away Lynne commented that it would be nice if the spirit could put the table away for us. Immediately the table started to move again this time following her across the hangar floor, at one point it stop tipped onto two legs and started to bend in the middle before moving off again across the floor. It event seemed to jump over the spaced between the concrete of the hangar floor. Unfortunately this was not caught on camera but the 25 people present at the time can pay testimony to this extremely and never as yet repeated occurance.

As a result of this outstanding night of activity we will be returning to the air museum again in November 2008.

December 1st 2007

Our night at the Air Museum in Doncaster produced some interesting phenomena. This report has been compiled from notes made by our team and guest throughout the night.

Building 21 – Kerry and Hilda picked up “Monty” who worked on a railway in the 1920’s.It is thought he was killed in an accident. Another male spirit attached to Monty because he believed that he had killed him by accident.

The planchette in this area produced some writing and shapes on request.Amanda & Merca picked up a little boy who said he stayed in this area.This was very interesting as a previous investigation done he produced the same information.No member of the group had previous knowledge of these details.Diving rods crossed when asked to do so and the name “Hugh” seemed relevant. The team asked for a noise and go a knock.At the bottom end of the corridor an irregular white light was seen by the group.They returned to the planchette and one member of the group was asked to think of a shape.The planchette seemed to draw a Christmas tree. This is what the group member was thinking off.

Group 4 used the planchette in building 21 also and picked up a spirit who wanted to speak to Mark (a member of the group).Tracy was speaking to spirit when her voiced seemed to change, following the séance she claimed to have no memory of what she had said.The medium present suggested to her that she was channelling a spirit.The next spirit to be picked up seemed to be German.Zaf one of the group members asked questions in German and the response was positive each time.This particular spirit seemed to attach itself to Sophie and drew 2 X’s (kisses?) on the paper next to her.

Building 19 – 2 names came up “Ben” and “Charlie”.Many people reported having goose bumps in this building and tingling heat.Pam captured a fast moving orb on camera.No explanation could be found for this.Kerry picked up on a pilot in a grey uniform quietly watching.Kerry felt draw to one of the aircraft by the pilot.Many people reported the feeling of being watched in this building.One person, who had been sceptical most of the night wanted to sit in the plane but when she mounted the steps her heart began to race and she had a “horrible” feeling.She tried again but felt so ill she needed to leave the area.As soon as she did she felt fine. Later we had a short séance in an adjoining room and she said that full and clear pictures seemed to pop into her head of a man in his early 30s sitting in the aircraft.Even though she knew nothing of what Kerry had picked up on later discussion both stories seemed to correlate.Very strange.

Hanger – By far the most active place of the night.Cold spots and icy breath were reported by all groups.Many names were picked up by mediums and group members alike.Fletcher, John and George and Alan.Martin held a pendant and it started to spin without explanation.All groups reported glasses moving on request.The thermal thermometer detected many unexplained temperature fluctuations; this is sometimes suggestive of spirit activity. Reports of people’s faces being touched were common among all groups.Whilst leaving the hanger one group reported feeling and “uneasy” presence and at the same time the EMF meter had a higher reading than any other time of the night.

Neil used dowsing rods which seemed to guide him toward a particular aircraft and a picture of a German soldier.This was at the same time that the German was picked up in building 21 – coincidence?While this was going on the camera picked up 3 lights, while discussing this what seemed to be 2 legs appeared and seemed to come closer (see our video on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsAY4fG5hxw&feature=related ) A shadow is seen on Neil’s shoulder.Before this was mentioned 2 other group member were shocked and reported seeing the bottom half of a person coming toward them (although 4 people saw this and it was seen on the camera screen it did not record – see video).

Bunker – many reports of an oppressive feeling.Neil once again seemed to be targeted by strange feelings and was drawn to a corner.Some people reported hearing music and Morse code taps.During a glass divination a female spirit connected with Neil and Ben and seemed a bit obsessive, at this point we called Kerry in as Ben was getting quite distressed.Kerry stopped all group activity and left with Ben.He later revealed that a female spirit “Elizabeth wanted Neil and Ben to be her sons as they reminded her of the sons she had lost.This was an experience Ben will not forget in a hurry!

The nights spent in the Air Museum was truly active and we intend to visit again in 2008.
