Ordsall Hall has  featured on 'Most Haunted' and has held a fascination for paranormal investigators and visitor for many years.  Records of the original site dates back to 1177.  The manor was passed to the Radclyffe family around 1335 following the death of Richard de Hulton.  The Ratcliffe family were associated with the Hall for over 300 years which saw family feuds, inter-marriages,  financial hardship and  knights of the shire, shortly followed by Sir Alexander being imprisoned during the civil war. Margaret Radclyffe became favourite Maid of Honour to Queen Elizabeth.  Will we be able to make contact with any of these tortured souls?

Over the centuries the Hall has changed hands several times, each family leaving there mark on the building. In the 19th century the Hall was used as a Clergy Training School untl 1908.  The Hall was used in various ways connected with the war effort in the 1940's.

Previous investigations have reported hearing children, a soldier who stands and watches visitors, moving tables, visitors touched by unseen icy cold hands.  Many investigators have reported cameras turning on and off without explanation and batteries draining in seconds.  Orbs, flashing lights and other light anomalies have also been reported.

This could prove to be one of our most active investigations.  Will this be the night that you capture the proof?

Free hot drinks and refreshments will be available throughout the night.

Please note by request of the building owners no ouija boards will be allowed at this location.
